here's to nostalgia
When I was much younger (and much blonder) my family and our friends used to take annual trips to Dalehollow Lake in Tennessee. We always had the best of times and spent our days basking in the sunlight, tubing, cliff diving, going for walks, and eating... lots and lots of eating. Our moms always whipped up the most amazing meals, and we never went back to Indiana without stopping at the tiny ice cream shack down by the marina for a scoop or two. The water there is so clear that you can see your feet and the lake is so big that you can find a quiet cove to drop anchor in without seeing one boat all day. I will never forget those simple yet meaningful summers with my family. Ah, to be young and carefree again.
