I am very excited about this event. I grabbed a flyer about it at Babycakes, my favorite bakery in the Lower East Side. I signed up today. The Brooklyn Food Conference is free to attend and there are all sorts of workshops on various food topics such as sustainable food, slow food, food politics, how we can get healthy food to the less fortunate in our communities, etc. It is going to be so great with some quality speakers, vendors and exhibits.
