Thank you! There was a study done that proved landscapes actually have a measurable healing effect on recovering patients. A new medical center in Seattle wanted to purchase a collection of landscapes for that reason and this painting was chosen to be part of that program. Isn't THAT cool?
It's called "A View to Acadia" and that is a National Park in Maine. If you are on Cadillac Mountain looking down, you may catch the mist clouds that are lower than the sky and the sky might even be clear. That's how it was when I saw it. I also layer nautical charts underneath the paint and let them peek through. The original is sold but I have prints and greeting cards etc available. :)
