Thursday Night Supper Club!

Thursday night is my new favorite night of the week. We've started a tradition. My friends and I pick a theme, spend the week deciding what we'll each make, and then we all provide a dish. The first two have been a huge success. Next week's theme: Valentine's Day Brunch. Can't wait!

Week 1:
Theme:
Mediterranean
Menu:
Feta and Dill Polenta Cakes with Sun Dried Tomato Tapenade
Warm Pita with hummus
Crostinis with Herbs, Ricotta, and Amber Honey
Cous Cous with dried fruit, cilantro, and spices
Cucumber Tomato Onion Salad with Bulgarian Feta (blows normal feta out of the water)
Fried Falafel
Three Layered Red Velvet Cake
and some Vino to top if off

Week 2:

Mexican
Menu:
Guacamole and Chips
Black Beans
Mexican Corn Salad
Chicken and Vegetarian Tortilla Soup
Fried Plantains
Tilapia Tacos with roasted pepper relish
Red Wine Sangria
Mexican Chocolate Cake
