Eating seasonally... most of the time
Freshly baked Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread... ooh my my.
My homemade brown rice and chicken soup. There truly is nothing better than homemade soup in the fall and winter. But you have to add celery and you have to add onions or you just won't get that amazing flavor!
Just a simple spinach, parsley, feta, onion omelet with some blood orange slices.
Baked Sweet Potato wedgest with sesame seeds, spinach, a homemade peanut dressing, and a side of beet, carrot slaw (with lime juice and soy sauce). I got the recipe for this out of my vegetarian food for friends book from Anthropologie. If you are ever looking for a great cookbook try looking there first.
A hearty and perfect meal for a fall/winter morning: Grilled whole wheat sourdough, truffle wilted spinach, roasted tomatoes, and a poached egg, serve it up with a hot cup of english breakfast tea and you've got yourself something special :)
