Recently my sister and I went and saw Across the Universe and let me just say I loved it. If you like musicals it is sure to be a pleaser as the director, Julie Taymor, has created some great broadway shows like the Lion King. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews but I thought it was swell. There is so much symbolism and hidden meanings throughout the movie. The singing in it is wonderful. Jim Sturgess has an amazing voice and the cutest face. Evan Rachel Wood does some great acting. And the music is all Beatles... It doesn't get much better than that.
